Simple recipe to make a healthy, guaranteed gluten-free alternative to the expensive store-bought version. Great to eat Pre or Post workout or when you just need a pick-me-up.

This is brought to you by the real Aussie in our group, Susan of You Got Balls fame. The members of Cooee Crossfit and other boxes, gyms and Pilates studios (like mine) around Perth have been chowing down on these and other amazing morsels of hers. The reason I’m posting this instead of her is cuz she’s been busy training for the start of the Reebok Crossfit Games next weekend and swanning around with her hubby for their anniversary…oh the things I do for a friend. She knows we love her.

330g Raw Almonds
60g Whey Protein Powder
60g Shredded Coconut
500g Dried Apricots
1 Tbs Vanilla Extract
Lemon/Orange Juice


PLACE all dry ingredients into food processor and process until chopped.

ADD apricots until chopped finely.

ADD vanilla extract and enough lemon or orange juice to combine.

Roll into beautiful size yummy balls and enjoy. That’s it…easy peasy!
